“What if you had sex with a wolf?” Cineverse + Fathom Events are hosting a one-night-only special event screening of this indie horror film on September 21st – this week. Shaky Shivers is the feature directorial debut of Korean-American actor Sung Kang – best known for playing Han in the Fast & Furious movies (with a recent appearance in Disney+’s Obi-Wan Kenobi series). Two young women find themselves at an abandoned camp in the woods with a book of magical spells surrounded by classic monsters in this comedic send up of 1980s horror films. It’s another new werewolf film to enjoy this spooky season, paying homage to the many horror classics from the 80s. Starring Brooke Markham, VyVy Nguyen, Jimmy Bellinger, Herschel Sparber, Skyler Day, & Erin Daniels. Looks like an amusing buddy comedy mashed up with every funky 80s horror idea they could think of.
